EDIT: Sorry I deleted the first version I had to fix the hair, it didn't look good with the eye poking out, see the headshot to see what I'm talking about. [link]
This is a pic I did for a contest over at gaia (Bloodlust) [link] The guy is based on the charachter description for Aldrich, a vampire. He belongs to I have permission to sell this pic as a print from the contest host. (mango-boo) Clothes, weapons, and so on are designed by me. Any cc on proportions are welcome, I am currently practicing on that. |

The textures are rather tangible, they stand out, and I love how he's half in shadow...the hair I am a huge fan of [white/silver hair =

I'm in love with the whole thing

Not to burst your bubble but... you're in mine.
The bridge of his nose seems a little broad though.

Your ideas intrigue me and I'd like to subscribe to your news letter.
*lol* the nose, I made it too skinny on the previous charachter so I tried to add more on this one, guess it was too much (^_^);
Ok, ok. Really, though. This is a good piece! Not entirely sure what proportional issues you're wondering about. The sword, the lanterns, his facial expression... They're all very nice. You might have been able to add a touch of red as a slight reflection off the curtain, as well as some yellow from the laners, but this is good without them as well.
I was worried about the arm, I fixed it a million times, too long? too short ? uhh... my brain hurts...
Thank you so much for your comment.
What's up with the tsk tsk, I'm not allowed to post both here and on gaia? T_T No one comments here anyway + I was whoring out for my art auction *guilty*
It worked though it got ab'd >.< Whoring always works I tell you.
+ I got some good cc, ppl are better at criticising on gaia, deviants are too polite.
Oh, and about the arm: For the style that this seems to be in, I wouldn't worry about it. I mean, look at Tsubasa and Hellsing.
